The Global Biodiversity Information Facility is currently advertising the 2021 GBIF Young Researchers Award in biodiversity informatics.

The GBIF Young Researchers Award fosters innovative research and discovery in biodiversity informatics by graduate students in Masters and Doctorate programmes at universities, whose studies rely on GBIF mediated data, in countries participating in the GBIF network.
Please feel free to send Fatima Parker-Allie (f.parker@sanbi.org.za) your nominations (together with completed documentation), for any eligible candidate, by no later than 31 May 2021.
The information and process will be coordinated by the SANBI-GBIF Node, in consultation with the Department of Science and Innovation. A maximum of two nominations can be submitted by a Node to GBIF. Further information is provided below.
